A Dallas County lawyer was disbarred and two other lawyers were suspended, the State Bar of Texas announced recently. In the case of the disbarment, the Bar cited alleged violation of the rule requiring an attorney not to neglect a client's legal matter and the rule requiring a lawyer to keep a client informed about a case. The judgment calls for the disbarred lawyer to pay $5,805.37 in restitution and direct expenses and fees to the State Bar.
