One lawyer was disbarred, another was placed on probation for two years, and a third received a public reprimand, the State Bar of Texas reported recently. In the case of the disbarred lawyer, the Bar cited alleged violations of the rules regulating lawyers entering into business transactions with clients. The lawyer, who also was ordered to pay $9,250 in fees and expenses, said he has appealed the disbarment.
