That’s the blunt message for recent summer associates at BigTex firms and 2010 wannabe summer associates. Seven of Texas’ largest firms are extending permanent job offers to a smaller percentage of the 2009 summer associates when compared with the previous year. And many of the large firms also plan on hiring smaller 2010 summer associate classes than they did in 2009.
