A handful of Texas lawyers are working on an ambitious pro bono legal clinic designed to help area Holocaust survivors apply to a new war reparations program sponsored by the German government. When it launches on July 10, it will be the first clinic of its kind to open in Texas and one of only five in the nation. Two of the lawyers working on the project are Sylvia Mayer and Ellyn Haikin Josef (pictured).
