Discipline Report: Lawyer Disbarred After Porn Conviction

The State Bar of Texas has announced that a lawyer has been disbarred after his conviction in a Harris County district court for possession of child pornography. The judgment of disbarment is dated about 43 months after the man's conviction. His conviction also carried a 10-year prison sentence, a fine of $10,000 and costs of $563.
