Net income at Andrews Kurth improved by 6.9 percent in 2012, compared to 2011, and average profits per partner in the Houston-based firm jumped by 12.5 percent. "Our results were driven by activity levels, really, across all the practice groups and offices," says Robert Jewell, the firm's managing partner.
