An inmate seeking kosher meals appeals the district court's dismissal of his claims. By properly filing grievances, the inmate has met the exhaustion requirement. The evidence supports the inmate's belief in the importance of eating kosher food. His few lapses in perfect adherence do not negate his overarching display of sincerity. The district court's summary judgment is reversed and remanded. 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, No. 09-40400, 12-21-2012.
