Escudero-Arciniega v. Holder

The petitioner seeks review of a finding that a lawful permanent U.S. resident's conviction of burglary of a vehicle under New Mexico's burglary statute rendered him removable pursuant to 8 U.S.C. §1227(a)(2)(A)(iii) for committing a crime of violence. The crime of burglary under the New Mexico statute is a crime of violence. The petition for review is denied in part and dismissed in part. 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, No. 11-60837, 12-11-2012.
