Stout v. State

Tex. App. Dist. 1

November 12, 2012

A jury convicted the appellant of being a felon in possession of a firearm and assessed his punishment at 33 years' confinement. The state's closing argument relating to the truthfulness of a police officer's testimony was based on reasonable deductions from the evidence and did not constitute unsworn testimony. The trial court's judgment is affirmed. Houston's 1st Court of Appeals, No. 01-11-00773-CR, 11-08-2012.
