Stevenson v. Housing Authority of the City of Austin

Tex. App. Dist. 8

November 5, 2012

The appellant challenges an order dismissing his de novo trial in a forcible entry and detainer action brought by the Housing Authority of the city of Austin. The appellant has failed to present a potentially meritorious claim to current, actual possession of the apartment because the issue of possession became moot when the lease expired. The trial court's judgment is affirmed. El Paso Court of Appeals, No. 08-10-00305-CV, 10-31-2012.
