Bazan v. State

Tex. App. Dist. 1

November 5, 2012

The appellant, who was found guilty of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon, challenges the trial court's denial of his motion for a new trial based on an ineffective assistance claim. The record supports the trial court's finding that the appellant failed to demonstrate that the outcome of the punishment phase of his trial likely would have been different but for trial counsel's ineffectiveness. The trial court's judgment is affirmed. Houston's 1st Court of Appeals, No. 01-10-01049-CR, 10-25-2012.
