L.V v. Texas Department of Family and Protective Services

Tex. App. Dist. 8

October 18, 2012

A mother appeals a judgment terminating her parental rights and placing the child in the home of the child's maternal grandmother. The legislative intent to keep siblings together expressly yields to the best interest requirement. The child's safety and best interests are of paramount concern when determining placement. The trial court's judgment is affirmed. El Paso Court of Appeals, No. 08-12-00252-CV, 10-17-2012.
