Judge, OAG Face Off Over Child Support
Judge Lynn Cherry, 301st District, Dallas
A long-simmering feud between the Texas Office of the Attorney General and a private child-support collection business has boiled over, turning into a power struggle between the OAG and 301st District Judge Lynn Cherry (pictured). The fight is over Cherry's orders requiring the OAG to send child-support payments to Guardian Ad Litem, a private child-support collection and enforcement company.
