On the shelf behind Matthew Feldman’s desk at Willkie Farr & Gallagher sits the Secretary’s Honor Award he received from the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Its citation calls Feldman “the designer and driving force” behind Treasury’s legal strategy in the bankruptcies of General Motors Corporation and Chrysler LLC.
