According to family law practitioner Thomas Snyder, "If you're going through a divorce, shut it off. Don't post. Stay away from Facebook."

At 7 p.m. today and Sunday at 5:30 p.m. on the Philadelphia CNN-News affiliate WFMZ-TV, The American Law Journal presents "Social Media, Private Investigation and Family Law" with host Christopher Naughton and guests Donald Spry II of Pennsylvania's King Spry Herman Freund & Faul, New Jersey's Snyder of Einhorn, Harris, Ascher, Barbarito & Frost and private investigator Joseph Gill of Philadelphia's Gill & Associates.

The program reviews the legality of examining other's computers, private or public Facebook and other social media pages, video/photo surveillance, texting, taping conversations, attaching GPS tracking devices to a spouse's car and their respective probative value in a divorce, custody or other family law matter.

TheAmerican Law Journal airs Mondays at 7 p.m. and Sundays at 5:30 p.m. on the CNN-News affiliate for Philadelphia, WFMZ-TV 69. See http://bit.ly/ALJchannels for all cable and satellite systems.
