Agreement to Slash Fees in Bankruptcy Case Thwarts Objection

A dispute between two law firms over what one of them should be paid in a bankruptcy case was rendered moot when the firm agreed to cut its fees by 55 percent, a federal bankruptcy judge ruled in denying the one firm's continued objections to the reduced fee.
