• On Thursday, Philadelphia VIP, the hub of pro bono legal services in Philadelphia, is scheduled to present a free CLE training program titled, "Quiet Title: Handling Cases Involving Problems With Title to Real Estate," from noon to 2:30 p.m. at Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis, 1600 Market St., Suite 3600. The training program is set to be taught by Edward J. Hayes and Robert S. Tintner, partners at Fox Rothschild, and will cover the legal grounds, procedures and forms for bringing a quiet title action, with an emphasis on the issues that low-income clients frequently encounter in obtaining title to a property. Lunch will be provided. Attorneys participating in this seminar will receive two free CLE credits if they accept a VIP case within six months of the training. • On February 27, the Mazzoni Center is set to present its fourth annual Open Bar event to raise funds for and awareness about the agency's legal services. This year's event includes a CLE program, which will run from 3 to 5:15 p.m., followed by a reception from 5:30 to 7 p.m., along with the presentation of this year's Justice in Action Awards, as well as the presentation of a special award to Dechert.
