• On Wednesday, the Philadelphia Bar Association's Public Interest Section is set to present a panel presentation, "The Court Collections Effort in Philadelphia: Fair Game or Foul Play?" from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Philadelphia Bar Association, 11th floor Conference Center, 1101 Market St. The program is set to be moderated by David Udell from the National Center for Access to Justice. Lunch is available for $8 for members of the Philadelphia Bar Association and $12 for non-members, and may be purchased online at www.philabar.org. The program is co-sponsored by the Philadelphia Bar Association's Criminal Justice Section.

• On Thursday, Philadelphia VIP, the hub of pro bono legal services in Philadelphia, is scheduled to present a free CLE training program titled, "Quiet Title: Handling Cases Involving Problems With Title to Real Estate," from noon to 2:30 p.m. at Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis, 1600 Market St., Suite 3600. The training program is set to be taught by Edward J. Hayes and Robert S. Tintner, partners at Fox Rothschild, and will cover the legal grounds, procedures and forms for bringing a quiet title action, with an emphasis on the issues that low-income clients frequently encounter in obtaining title to a property. Lunch will be provided. Attorneys participating in this seminar will receive two free CLE credits if they accept a VIP case within six months of the training. • On Thursday, the Greater Philadelphia Area Law School Consortium is set to host the Public Interest/Public Service (PIPS) Career Fair Reception from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, 1701 Market St. The reception is an opportunity for public interest and government employers to meet law students from all of the area law schools. • On Thursday, from 2 to 4 p.m., Community Legal Services is scheduled to hold an event celebrating CLS's new North Philadelphia Law Center, located at 1410 West Erie Ave. RSVP to Lauren Talarico at ltalarico@clsphila.org or 215-981-3716.

• On February 22, Philadelphia VIP is set to present a pro bono CLE training program on custody from noon to 2:15 p.m. at Fox Rothschild, 2000 Market St. Lunch will be provided. • On February 27, the Mazzoni Center is set to present its fourth annual Open Bar event to raise funds for and awareness about the agency's legal services. This year's event includes a CLE program, which will run from 3 to 5:15 p.m., followed by a reception from 5:30 to 7 p.m., along with the presentation of this year's Justice in Action Awards, as well as the presentation of a special award to Dechert. The event is scheduled to take place at the National Liberty Museum, 321 Chestnut St., and the cost is $50 for the reception and $125 for the CLE program.
