• On December 28, the professional development committee's "Lunch and Learn: Career Recharge! Ending the Year Strong" is set for 12:30 p.m. at 8 Penn Center, 1628 JFK Blvd., lower-level conference room. Seating is limited. Contact Babette Pace at babette.pace@gmail.com to reserve your place.

• On January 8, the first-quarter luncheon is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. Location to be announced soon. The 2013 board of directors will be sworn in by the 86th chancellor of the Philadelphia Bar Association, Kathleen Wilkinson. More info coming soon.

• On January 16, the estates and trusts committee's "Lunch and Learn" is set for 12:30 p.m. at Saul Ewing, 1500 Market St., 38th floor. Our guest speaker is Guy Matthews of Eckell, Sparks, Levy, Auerbach, Monte, Sloane, Matthews & Auslander, who will present on the topic of "Gift Tax Returns." The meeting is open to all PAP members.
