HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) - A Pennsylvania murderer scheduled to be executed in 16 days wants Gov. Tom Corbett to spare his life.

The state Pardons Board plans a Monday hearing on the request from Terrance "Terry" Williams, whose Oct. 3 execution would be Pennsylvania's first since 1999.

Williams wants Corbett to commute his sentence to life in prison.

The five-member pardons board, which includes Attorney General Linda Kelly, must unanimously agree on any recommendation. It would be up to Corbett whether to change Williams' sentence or let the death penalty stand.

Williams is sentenced to die for the fatal beating of a man in 1984, when Williams was 18, but his lawyers say the victim sexually abused him for years.

A Philadelphia judge also has agreed to consider new evidence in the case.

    PLEASE don't take Terry's life.

I believe that he is extremely remorseful for taking the person's life who RAPED him for years.

The RAPIST wife, has even expressed UNDERSTANDING for what Terry felt at that time and has forgiven him, for feeling he had to erase the person who constantly raped him in order to STOP his pain.

I believe WHOLEHEARTEDLY now that, Terry understands that he DOES have a VOICE and SUPPORT from people who now understand how much pain he wa sin the many years he was raped.

I BEG the courts, along with his other supporters, to SPARE his life for I believe he deserves understanding and 'CLEMENCY'.

PLEASE allow him to live the rest of his life with people who care.

I believe he will make a positive life for himself and a wonderful neighbor for others.

    Thank you.
