Patrick W. Kittredge, 75, of counsel for Thorp Reed & Armstrong, died June 19 at Pennsylvania Hospital after a brief illness.

Kittredge started his legal career as a law clerk to Judge John Morgan Davis. He became an associate at Labrum & Doak and later was chair of the litigation department at Cohen, Shapiro, Polisher, Shiekman & Cohen. He was also a founding partner of Philadelphia law firm Kittredge, Donley, Elson, Fullem & Embick, which eventually merged with Thorp Reed in 2008, a release said.
