A Philadelphia jury awarded $4.2 million for a one-third ownership stake in a granite and marble company with disputed ownership.
Plaintiff Anastasios “Tasa” Papadopoulos said that it was his idea to form NTP Marble Inc. and that his contribution to the firm was sweat equity and his knowledge of the industry, according to court papers. The jury found in favor of Papadopoulos’ claim for breach of contract.
