Appellee met its burden of proving appellant had the ability to pay for his indigent mother’s unpaid rehabilitation bills, the court was not required to consider alternative sources of income available and appellee presented sufficient evidence of mother’s indigence. Order holding appellee liable for his mother’s outstanding debt affirmed.

In 2007, after completing rehabilitation for injuries sustained in a car accident, appellant John Pittas’ mother was transferred to appellee Health Care & Retirement Corporation of America, d/b/a Liberty Nursing & Rehabilitation Center’s (HCR) facility for skilled nursing care and treatment. In March 2008, appellant’s mother left the HCR facility and relocated to Greece.
