Stevens & Lee and one of its partners have said a lawsuit against them by Elliott Greenleaf alleging theft of client files through remote software is nothing more than an attempt to interfere with the client relationships the partner took when he left Elliott Greenleaf to join Stevens & Lee.
Stevens & Lee’s Harrisburg partner William R. Balaban and former Elliott Greenleaf clients Charles and Pamela Herron denied in three separate responses to the suit all of the allegations against them in Elliott Greenleaf v. Balaban . Balaban further adamantly denied he charged any expenses to clients through the misuse of escrow funds, as was alleged by his former firm in its amended complaint.
