A Philadelphia trial judge has thwarted Philadelphia-based Bochetto & Lentz’s attempt to preclude King of Prussia, Pa.-based attorney Michael G. Trachtman and his firm, Powell, Trachtman, Logan, Carrle & Lombardo, from representing the plaintiff in a commerce court suit seeking settlement proceeds.

Philadelphia Common Pleas Court Judge Arnold L. New denied Bochetto & Lentz’s petition to disqualify Powell Trachtman. The petition had alleged that Powell Trachtman sued several defendants using confidential information gleaned from its prior representation of those defendants.
