In its response to a suit against it by Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel for nearly $1 million in unpaid attorney fees, Foxwoods Development Co. said the firm sued the wrong client.
Obermayer Rebmann sued Foxwoods Development Co. in December, alleging the company didn’t pay about $940,000 in attorney fees for the firm’s work on Foxwoods’ bid for a gaming license for a planned South Philadelphia casino, according to the complaint in Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel v. Foxwoods Development Co .
