Penn State University has sued its insurance company following the insurer’s own legal action to limit its coverage in a lawsuit against the university stemming from the Jerry Sandusky sex-abuse scandal.
But, while the Pennsylvania Manufacturers’ Association Insurance Co. filed suit in Philadelphia — where the underlying civil case against the university has been filed — Penn State is playing on its home turf. And it’s asking for a jury.
