Representing residential mortgage lenders and the various related service companies has generated so much work in the past year that area law firms are hiring dozens of attorneys to meet the demand.
In the last month alone, Blank Rome has hired six associates and an of counsel across the country to help the consumer financial services practice it bolstered in January with the addition of seven lawyers from Dilworth Paxson. In total, the firm has added more than 20 laterals to the practice this year, including the Dilworth Paxson team led by partner Wayne Streibich.
