An attorney who has been suspended by Pennsylvania’s Supreme Court may not keep a law office in the commonwealth for the purpose of maintaining his federal court practice, the Supreme Court has ruled in a 6-0 decision.

Frank Marcone was suspended by the court in 1995 for failing to return a client’s $2,000 bail reimbursement, but he did not seek reinstatement after his four-year suspension period ended, according to the opinion in Office of Disciplinary Counsel v. Marcone.
