Bills Proposed to Change Mandatory Judicial Retirement

Bills have been introduced in both houses of the Pennsylvania General Assembly to either eliminate the mandatory retirement of judges in the year in which they turn 70 or raise the mandatory retirement age to 75. But the legislation may have an uncertain future with legislators.
