ALBANY – Governor Andrew M. Cuomo criticized the state’s Judiciary yesterday for “not participating” in his efforts to close a $10 billion gap in the 2011-12 state budget.
“I respectfully ask the Judicial Branch to reduce its spending while continuing to serve those who seek justice,” Mr. Cuomo said in a brief message accompanying the submission of his $132.9 billion spending plan to the Legislature.
