ALBANY – The chairman of Attorney General-elect Eric Schneiderman’s transition team, Boies Schiller & Flexner partner Harlan Levy, will become Mr. Schneiderman’s chief deputy and Barbara D. Underwood will continue in the post of state solicitor general that she has held since the first days of Andrew M. Cuomo’s term as attorney general in 2007.
Mr. Schneiderman announced a blend of private attorneys and government veterans yesterday for six top posts in his administration. He takes office on Jan. 1.
