An MSNBC reporter will have a second crack at showing that she was defamed by network personnel through Internet postings that she had resigned and was unprofessional and uncooperative.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit reversed a lower court’s finding that Claudia DiFolco, an entertainment reporter, correspondent and anchor, repudiated her contract and could not pursue claims for defamation because two of the postings were true, and a third was merely opinion.
