He focuses on financial fraud, anti-corruption and anti-money laundering matters. Previously, he was a prosecutor in the Department of Justice's Criminal Division and in the District of Connecticut. He earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School.

Edward J. Meehan, 58, and David Kaleda, 42, have joined Groom Law Group's Washington office as partners. Meehan is a member of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act litigation group. Previously, he was a partner at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom. He earned his J.D. from George Washington University Law School. Kaleda is a member of the fiduciary responsibility practice. Previously, he was a partner at Alston & Bird. He earned his J.D. and LL.M. from Duquesne University and Villanova University schools of law, respectively.
PATTON BOGGS
Lu Zawistowich, 57, has returned to Patton Boggs' Washington office as a senior public policy adviser in the firm's health care, U.S. Food and Drug Administration and life sciences practice group. Zawistowich will focus on legislative, regulatory and administrative matters involving Medicaid and Medicare. Previously, she was the executive director of the Medicaid and Children's Health Insurance Program Payment and Access Commission. She earned her science doctorate from Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health.

Alexandra Walsh, 40, has joined Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison's Washington office as a partner in the litigation department. She focuses on white-collar criminal, civil and appellate litigation. Previously, she was a partner at Baker Botts. She earned her J.D. from Stanford Law School.
