Protest case drags on

A decade ago, D.C. police arrested more than 400 people during protests against the International Monetary Fund and World Bank. City officials acknowledged the arrests were problematic and settled with most of those who sued. But a remaining case is expected to come to a head soon on an issue that has long consumed the litigation: alleged mishandling of evidence.
