Highlights: Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code applies to secured transactions, which are interests in specific collateral granted by the debtor in conjunction with the debtor’s promise to pay. Highlights: Social Media, Cloud Computing, wikis, Smartphones and flash drives...To some lawyers that sounds like a foreign language, but others know that it’s actually a list of the hottest trends in technology. The use of these trends is expanding rapidly in the practice of law, but many members of the bar are unaware of the ethical pitfalls associated with each. This seminar discusses the threats associated with these platforms so that lawyers can use technology responsibly.
