Media welcome expedited audio in same-sex marriage cases but puzzle over policy

Supreme Court justices often boast that theirs is the only branch of government that publicly explains the reasons for its decisions. But no such explanation was given on Tuesday, when the court announced that it would release, on an expedited basis, the audio off next week's historic arguments in two same-sex marriage cases.
