He received his J.D. from American University Washington College of Law. LOCKE LORDMarlon Paz, 41, has joined Locke Lord as partner in the Washington office. He focuses his practice on securities matters, business litigation, white-collar criminal defense and internal investigations. Previously, he was principal integrity officer at the Inter-American Development Bank. He received his J.D. at the University of Pennsylvania Law School. MCDERMOTT WILL & EMERYLisa Richman, 36, has joined McDermott Will & Emery's Washington office as partner. She focuses on international commercial and investment arbitration. PARKS IP LAWTheodore Wood, 53, has joined Parks IP Law as partner and lead attorney in its new Washington office. He received his J.D. from the University of Dayton School of Law. PILLSBURY WINTHROP SHAW PITTMANBradford Blaise, 38, will be promoted from senior associate to partner in the Washington office of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman, effective January 1, 2013. He focuses on patent prosecution and counseling in the fields of software, electronic commerce and medical devices. He received his J.D. from Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law. REED SMITHDavid Houston, 56, has joined Reed Smith as a partner in its real estate practice in the firm's Falls Church, Va., office. He focuses on real estate development, with an emphasis on land use and retail leasing. Previously, he was a partner at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman.
