A Northern Virginia company that counts Equatorial Guinea among its clients was awarded $146.3 million from the U.S. Justice Department from fiscal 2008 to fiscal 2012.

MPRI Inc., once called Military Professional Resources Inc. and now known as Engility Corp., assisted DOJ with law enforcement training and other services in countries that included Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan and Ukraine during the past five fiscal years while working on police training for Equatorial Guinea, an oil-rich African nation that is frequently criticized by human rights groups, among other nations. Only three other individual contractors were awarded more money from the U.S. government for their legal work from fiscal 2008 to fiscal 2012.
