Margaret “Peggy” Dillenburg set a record that no other solo practitioner broke during the past five fiscal years. The Maryland lawyer during that period was awarded $10.2 million in federal government contract work.
Dillenburg, who runs the Law Offices of Margaret Dillenburg out of her house in Potomac, Md., performed title and closing services on behalf of the U.S. Defense Department, bringing her a government award that made her the ninth-biggest law firm contractor overall from fiscal 2008 to fiscal 2012.
