The U.S. government doesn’t seem to mince words when it describes a litigation assistance contract that has brought an Arlington, Va.-based information-technology provider hundreds of millions of dollars in awards in the past five fiscal years. According to the feds, it’s "Mega" — which logically could be referring to its size.

From fiscal 2008 to fiscal 2012, the U.S. Justice Department’s "Mega 3" automated litigation support contract netted CACI International Inc. $384.3 million, an amount for legal work surpassed only by Forfeiture Support Associates LLC. The sum is about 12 percent of all money awarded by the government for legal work during that period. The company has about 14,900 employees located around the world.
