McKenna, Long & Aldridge has added 15 attorneys to its litigation practice, including 12 in northern Virginia. Five partners and seven associate counsel will join the firm in its new office in McLean, Va. All the laterals were previously with Dombroff Gilmore Jaques & French. The firm is also adding an office in Miami.

Joining as partners are Thomas Almy, Morgan Campbell, Mark Dombroff, Dane Jaques and Mark McKinnon. Joining as associate counsel are Shaleeza Altaf, Matthew Clark, James Eastwood, Camilla Lee, Cecilia Littleton, Darcy Osta and Erin Slusser.

The team adds experience in the areas of contract disputes, warranty claims, employment litigation and Federal Aviation Administration enforcement actions.

The relationship between the two firms was not immediately clear, and a firm spokeswoman was unable to say whether Dombroff Gilmore was dissolved or absorbed by McKenna Long. However, visitors to the Dombroff website are automatically forwarded to McKenna Long's website.

"Adding their experience and our presence in Northern Virginia and South Florida positions MLA to provide a broader base of services and reach to our clients -- a goal toward which we continually strive," McKenna Long Chairman Jeff Haidet of the firm's Atlanta office said in a written statement.

Haidet was not immediately available for comment.
