To make the cut of the 50 biggest law firm contractors from fiscal 2008 to fiscal 2012, a firm had to get an award total of at least $1.1 million. The 50 biggest law firm contractors received more than 80 percent of the money the U.S. government awarded to law offices. Among the top 10 offices, only Klarquist Sparkman; Leydig, Voit & Mayer; and the Law Offices of Margaret Dillenburg aren’t among the NLJ 350. Klarquist and Leydig are midsize firms based in Portland, Ore., and Chicago, respectively. Dillenburg is a solo practitioner based in Potomac, Md.
