AKIN GUMP STRAUSS HAUER & FELD

Stacey Eisenstein, 39, Bernd Janzen, 48, Amanda Johnson, 33, and Raphael Prober, 35, have been promoted from counsel to partner in the Washington office of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld. Eisenstein is a member of the labor and employment practice who focuses on arbitration and complex litigation before federal courts and administrative agencies. She earned her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. Janzen is a member of the international trade practice, advising clients on trade litigation matters. He earned his J.D. from George Washington University Law School. Johnson is a member of the intellectual property practice who focuses on patent infringement disputes and damages analyses. She earned her J.D. from George Washington University Law School. Prober is a member of the public law and policy practice, representing companies and individuals in congressional investigations. He earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.

BINGHAM MCCUTCHEN

Duke McCall III, 44, has been promoted from of counsel to partner in Bingham McCutchen's Washington office. He is a member of the environmental, land use and natural resources practice, where he focuses on environmental law and related litigation and regulatory matters. He earned his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School.

HOGAN LOVELLS

Anthony Capobianco, 35, Elizabeth Halpern, 38, G. Allen Hicks, 41, and Mahvesh Qureshi, 35, have been promoted to partner in the Washington office of Hogan Lovells. Capobianco was previously an associate. Halpern, Hicks and Qureshi were previously counsel. Capobianco is a member of the international trade and investment practice, where he focuses on U.S. export control laws, economic sanctions and government policy. He earned his J.D. from Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law. Halpern is a member of the health practice, where she focuses on coverage and reimbursement for drugs, devices and health care services. She earned her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. Hicks is a member of the corporate practice, where he focuses on corporate, securities and mergers and acquisitions. He earned his J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law. Qureshi is a member of the corporate practice, where she focuses on private equity, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters. She earned her J.D. from Boston College Law School.

JONES DAY

Rebecca MacPherson, 49, has joined Jones Day as of counsel to the airlines and aviation practice. She was previously assistant chief counsel for regulations at the Federal Aviation Administration. MacPherson earned her J.D. from Tulane University Law School.

MCDERMOTT WILL & EMERY

Dale Van Demark, 42, and Jason Caron, 35, have joined McDermott Will & Emery's health care practice. Both were previously partners at Epstein Becker & Green. Van Demark focuses on mergers and acquisitions in the health care industry. He received his J.D. from Pace Law School. Caron represents health care and life sciences organizations in legal, regulatory, reimbursement and policy matters. He received his J.D. from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law.
