Aronberg Goldgehn's Kelli Biggam

NEW ARRIVALS

Aronberg Goldgehn (Chicago): Kelli Biggam has joined the firm's insurance coverage litigation group and its commercial workouts and foreclosure group as an associate. Biggam focuses on the analysis and litigation of complex insurance coverage issues. Previously, she was an associate at Gordon & Rees. She received her J.D. from The John Marshall Law School in 2008.

Burns White (Pittsburgh): Three attorneys have joined the firm's Philadelphia office as associates. Harry McGrath has joined the health care and long-term care practice; he focuses on medical malpractice defense and liability-related matters. McGrath received his J.D. from Villanova University School of Law in 2011. Anne Schmidt has joined the firm's health care and long-term care practice; she focuses on defending hospitals, physicians and long-term care facilities against professional and general liability claims. Previously, Schmidt was an associate at Post & Post. She received her J.D. from Widener University School of Law in 2008. Jesse Hallinan has joined the firm's workers' compensation practice; he focuses on workers' compensation defense. Previously, Hallinan was an attorney at North Penn Legal Services. He received his J.D. from Widener University School of Law in 2011.

Polsinelli Shughart (Kansas City, Mo.): Michael Donovan has joined the firm as an associate in the Phoenix office. Donovan focuses on intellectual property issues including patent preparation and prosecution. Donovan received his J.D. from Arizona State University Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law in 2010.

Winstead (Dallas): Adam Plumbley has joined the firm's energy and environmental law practice group as an associate in the Fort Worth, Texas, office. Plumbley focuses on energy and environmental law matters. Previously, he was an associate at Brown, Dean, Wiseman, Proctor, Hart & Howell. He received his J.D. from the Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in 2006.

PROMOTIONS TO PARTNER

Meckler Bulger Tilson Marick & Pearson (Chicago): Three associates have been promoted to partner at the firm. In the Chicago office, Matthew Cohn focuses on environmental law; his practice encompasses litigation, regulatory counseling, and due diligence. Cohn received his J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2000. In the Dallas office, Abel Leal focuses on commercial and tort litigation, bad faith litigation, and reinsurance and insurance coverage disputes. Hel received his J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2000. In the San Francisco office, David Borovsky focuses on providing counseling to insurance carriers and representing them in insurance coverage litigation, including defense of "bad faith" lawsuits. He received his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2001.
