The National Law Journal is seeking nominations for our annual Legal Times Champions and Visionaries special report. Candidates for the Legal Times Awards, which will run in our July 2 issue, should be lawyers based in the metropolitan Washington area — in private practice, government, public interest organizations or academia — who have done notable work during the past year. Nominations can be made in two categories: champions, those who have upheld the profession's core values through public service, pro bono efforts or advocacy for civil liberties; and visionaries, those whose business or legal acumen has been key to expanding their firms, improving government or advancing the law.
The deadline is June 1.
