Selig, a Milwaukee native who used to own part of the Brewers franchise, has been lecturing at the law school since 2009 but now has been named an adjunct professor. He is not a lawyer.

“Bud Selig is, without question, one of the most skilled and accomplished professionals in the sports industry today,” Marquette law Dean Joseph Kearney said in a written statement. “We are truly honored he would commit his time to our students and grateful that he’s chosen our classrooms as a place to pass down his significant wisdom to the next generation of leaders.”
