Cozen O'Connor (Philadelphia): Nathan Dooley joins the firm’s commercial litigation department as an associate in the Los Angeles office. Dooley will focus on idea theft, copyright, patent licensing disputes, alleged securities violations, banking violations and entertainment law. Previously, he was an associate at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart Oliver & Hedges. He earned his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law in 2002.

Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough (Columbia, S.C.): Emma Dean and Robert McWilliams Jr. join the firm’s Columbia office. Dean will practice in the areas of appellate law and business litigation. Previously, she clerked for Justice John W. Kittredge of the Supreme Court of South Carolina. She earned her J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2006. McWilliams will practice intellectual property law. He earned his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2009.

Winstead (Dallas): Sean Davis and Justin Whitley join the firm’s Houston office as associates. Davis joins the business restructuring and bankruptcy practice group. He earned his J.D. from Cornell Law School in 2009. Whitley joins the commercial litigation practice group. His will focus on commercial defense, contractual disputes and consumer litigation, among other things. He earned his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center in 2003.
