ASSOCIATE PROMOTIONS TO PARTNER

Davis Polk & Wardwell (New York): Three associates have been elected to partnership of the firm.

Jason Kyrwood is a member of the credit group in the New York office and will focus on corporate finance transactions, including leveraged and investment-grade acquisition financings, workouts and refinancings, debtor-in-possession financings and structured financing transactions. Kyrwood received his LL.B. from Murdoch University in 1998. John B. Meade is a member of the corporate group in the London office and will focus on complex cross-border transactions. Meade received his LL.M. from Osgoode Hall Law School of York University in 1997. Damian S. Schaible is a member of the insolvency and restructuring group in the New York office and will focus on corporate restructurings and bankruptcies. Schaible received his J.D. from New York University School of Law in 2001.

ASSOCIATE DISTINCTIONS

Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman & Dicker (New York): Mona A. Patel, an associate in the firm’s Los Angeles office, was recently elected president of the South Asian Bar Association of Southern California. The association is focused on the advancement and development of South Asian attorneys interested in the issues affecting the South Asian community. Patel received her J.D. from the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law in 1999.
