Insurer wants court backing not to defend IP firm in BlackBerry settlement case

The Minnesota Lawyers Mutual Insurance Co. has asked a Virginia federal court to back its decision not to defend intellectual property boutique Antonelli, Terry, Stout & Kraus and firm partner Donald Stout from a lawsuit alleging that fraudulent actions helped them unjustly collect hundreds of millions of dollars in the $612.5 million BlackBerry settlement.
